PBIS is a school wide approach to make schools safe and promote positive behavior.

Newaygo High School's Behavioral Expectations are that students demonstrate Safety, Responsibility and Respect.

PBIS at Newaygo High School includes the following initiatives:

Weekly and Monthly Lion Pride Ticket Drawings
Lion Pride Display Case
Student of the Month/Citizen of the Month Display Case
A focus on the reduction of Tardies and Promoting Positive Attendance Incentives
PBIS Bulletin Board
Bake Sales (Fundraising)

New Incentives!
The NHS PBIS (Positive Behavior Inventions and Support) Program has
new incentive prizes!   The staff awards Lion Pride Tickets to
students who are Responsible, Respectful and Safe in the classroom,
hallways, the gym, cafetorium on the field or any location on campus.
On Fridays during advisory, students can turn in 2 Lion Pride Tickets
up to 100 Tickets for various prizes.  All prizes are now displayed in
the case at the main entrance of the high school.  Some prizes can
also be purchased.  Lion Pride is positively amazing!
