BASKETBALL GAME AT THE DELTAPLEX
Tickets are on sale for the Varsity Boys Basketball game that will be played at the DeltaPlex in Grand Rapids on December 17. Tickets are $10 and will get you admission to the Varsity game as well as the Grand Rapids Drive game.
Tickets can be picked up in the athletic/counseling office.

It was very close and the judges had a tough decision - but the Grand Prize goes to the students in Mrs. Grodus' Advisory with their video on proper restroom use. They will be rewarded with a party.

BASEBALL MEETING
There will be a baseball meeting on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 2:30 p.m. in the presentation room. Please contact Coach Bomay if you have any questions.

STOP WINTER BRAIN FREEZE
Stop by the Library and get your "Stop Winter Brain Freeze Bookmark" from Mrs. Moore, or from the Library bulletin board.
• Rules - You must put your name on the back of the bookmark and each time you read a BOOK - not a chromebook, textbook or magazine, for 60 minutes, have a parent or teacher initial by the date read. You will receive a blue Lion Pride Ticket for each 60 minutes of reading.
• Happy Reading!

SENIORS
You do have until this Thursday, December 8, to turn in your Jostens orders.
If you have not ordered a Cap & Gown, you MUST get your order in, this week!
Orders may be turned in to the main office, on-line, or by calling Jostens @ 1-800-JOSTENS.

SENIORS
Senior pictures are due no later than Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
• Picture specifications are available on the table, in the main office. They are also posted on newaygo.net, the school website, under high school resources.
• Please remember; no hats props or hands, and we must have a vertical head shot for the graduation composite.
• Seniors that do not turn in a photo, your school picture will be used.

COSTA RICA SURVEY
Would you like to go to Costa Rica for two weeks next summer to practice your Spanish? If you have had two years of Spanish or its equivalent by the end of this school year and are interested, please email Mrs. Gross and she will send you a link to information about the possible trip.

LION PRIDE TICKET HOLDERS
PM VOC students that want to redeem their blue Lion Pride tickets for prizes please see Mrs. Boyd or Mrs. Westcott in room A119 at 7:45 a.m. (Friday mornings only).

LOOKING TO UP YOUR GAME?
Join the advanced PE "Sport Fitness" class 4th hour for second semester! This is an athlete-only training course. Lion training is intended to increase strength, speed, endurance, and range of motion, all while decreasing risk of injury. Athletes will see how proper training can translate into better performance both on and off the field. Stop into the athletic office and see Mrs. Gracik for a permission form (this form must be signed by your coach and Ms. Melvin).

HAT DAY
Please remember - Friday is the only day of the week that hats may be worn. You must have purchased a wrist band to wear a hat.
We will be selling black hat bands for the rest of the semester for $3.00 to wear a hat on Friday.
SANTA HATS
We will be selling Santa Hats on Friday and Monday for Santa Hat Day on Monday. They will cost $2.00. First come, first served.

BELIZE, 2018
Any junior or senior interested in traveling to Belize in the summer of 2018, please see Ms. Bowman to get information about the trip.
